Amy LaVere House Concert
Memphis-based chanteuse Amy Lavere returns to Roots Hoot House Concerts on Sunday, April 13, for a 4:30 pm show. Playing the stand-up bass and singing like a flower, Amy wowed folks at our Swamp Stomp 5 festival in July of 2012 (not to mention a memorable house show appearance in Fall of 2009). SHe has a brand new album in the works that is scheduled to hit the streets in late May. After a triumphant sets of dates at SXSW in Austin, TX, she hits the road again for a duo tour with Austin-based guitarist Will Sexton, kicking off March 29 in Kansas City. The tour lands in Peace Dale, RI for a Roots Hoot House Concerts appearance on Sunday, April 13. Doors are at 4 pm and show time at 4:30. Don't miss out! This is a BYOB/potluck show which means terrific food to go with an afternoon/evening of great music. Sounds like win-win to us
