Producer DJ, and label manager; Mike Shiver has been one of the most talked-about, up and coming talents over the last years. Since breaking onto the scene in 2003, he's been sending shivers down thousands of people's spines. Mike has unquestioningly become one of Scandinavia's biggest front figures in the EDM landscape and has shown the world why his music is so highly rated, loved, and captivating.
Over the past years, Mike has been building up an arsenal of tracks and remixes being a-listed by the finest DJs globally. Starting off with his debut release 'Mike Shiver - Feelings' which rapidly became a firmly supported and well known record, carving his name into the scene. The runner up releases 'Lunation', 'Hurricane', 'Water Ripples', 'Arise' and ' Morning Drive' have been nothing but a great journey, which underlines his versatility in creating impressive, yet brilliant productions. So far the long list of artists to receive the Shiver remix interpretation includes Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Solarstone, Ronski Speed, Darren Tate, Alex M.O.R.P.H, Hiver & Hammer, Lost Witness, Darude, Filo & Peri and David West to mention a few. As well, his endless evolving tracks appear on top labels such as Anjunabeats, Armada Music and Lost Language constantly topping charts and entering the play lists of the top spinners across the globe. Best of all the tracks are highly charted around the world attracting numerous amounts of growing fans. In the end of 2007 Mike released his new single 'The Apocalypse' together with George Acosta on Armin van Buuren's Sound Piercing imprint at Armada Music. 2008 is the year when things take off for Mike, as he is on the roll at the moment. If we take a closer look into the portfolio, we can reveal there are new brilliant solo releases and collaborations coming up along with his very eagerly anticipated debut artist album. Mike is set for additional DJ bookings throughout Europe and the United States, and has already graced clubs with his timeless and trendy sets.
In the meantime he is also broadcasting ' Captured Radio' in conjunction with one of the leading internet broadcasters worldwide; Digitally Imported (DI.FM) and Dance-Tunes Ltd (ID&T) which gains listeners consistently with its current 20,000+ daily listeners. With over 10 years of DJing, combined with being a full-time label and A&R manager of probably one of Scandinavia's finest and renowned labels 'Captured Music', Mike has an ear for quality dance music, paving the way for more eagerly anticipated releases. His sets are consistently musical structured full of energy and dedication. Mike always shows incredible enthusiasm behind the decks, which is why he never fails to get an audience going.

Gaz West aka Dark By Design yes again celebrates his accolade of BEST REMIXER at the much hyped HARD DANCE AWARDS 2006. The young producer whizkid was also RUNNER UP in the BEST PRODUCER category closely behind the Legendary 'BK'. Gaz also was amongst the nominees for BEST TRACK 'AVALINE - NEVER SEVER' & MIXMAG FUTURE HERO! 2006 sees Gaz continue to innovate the UK hard trance / hard dance scene with releases & big remixes on the likes of TIDY, MASIF, TRACID TRAXX, TUNNEL RECORDS & HARDTIMEZ all under his DARK BY DESIGN, GAZ WEST, AVALINE & KAIN MARCO aliases alongside his own label DARK BY DESIGN RECORDINGS Which has recently be launched with a debut release an Organ Donors vs. Alex Kidd original with a DBD Remix. Alongside his repeat bookings at TIDY, GOODGREEF, POLYSEXUAL, TRANZACTION, DANCE ACADEMY, WiLDCHiLD, + BIONIC & KAOS in Wales, to name but a few, Gaz makes his debut for THE COACH in Northern Ireland & Scottish super club NUKLEAR PUPPY in Edinburgh. Gaz also recently played for Q DANCE'S DEFQON1 FESTIVAL in HOLLAND & a return tour of AUSTRALIA including a set at the infamous TRANSMISSION FESTIVAL not forgetting a return LIVE performance on the massive 'HQ Stage' at the world renowned DANCE VALLEY festival in Holland & return tour to ASIA at the legendary Valfaree in Japan. The highlight of 2006 will see young Gaz West globally release his Debut Artist Album DARK BY DESIGN supported by a World tour consisting of either a dj or live performance to showcase his unreleased new solo material, legendary remixes & exciting collaborations past, present and future. This album will truly cement DbD as an influential leader & superstar talent in the hard dance scene today. There are not many artists that can boast launching their DJ career at such clubs as Goodgreef - the former Mixmag 'Club of the year', and, the UK's leading brand, based in Manchester; in addition to a much envied debut at the 7,000 capacity HQXL, at the Docklands, in Amsterdam in the later part 2004. 2005 saw Gaz rock the likes of Creamfields (Tidy Arena) , Dance Valley in Holland, Escape In The Park Wales & Planet Love in Northern Ireland, Tidy Weekender 7 & 8, in Prestatyn, North Wales & 4500 capacity Hard House Academy at Brixton Academy & NYE in the Frantic Arena at the SLAMMIN VINYL event at NEC Birmingham. He also debut his LIVE showcase Tidy's 10th Birthday event at Heaven London & Goodgreef's 5th Birthday event at Nation, Liverpool & for the mighty AVEX 'Cyber Trance Party' @ Valfare in Tokyo Japan. And after such an incredible positive response, Gaz has decided to really concentrate on his DJ showcases and is set to perform around the Globe, supporting and displaying his very own unique sound. Dark By Design aka Gaz West is not just a DJ set but actually a 'showcase'. It is, in fact, an almost pre-live set that has been delicately prepared that exhibits exclusive remixes, re-edits and new tracks - never to be released - full of effects to blow away any crowd! His sets are a fusion of European and UK Hard Trance and Hard Dance, often continuing for over 1 hour at a time.. truly an experience, and, definitely not to be missed. He takes time off his hectic Studio schedule to prepare for each set and will not double-up on the day of his booking to dedicate to his special performance! Don't say we did not warn you!
