Creative Wellbeing with Christine Devaney

Curious Seed's Artistic Director Christine Devaney is offering 2 x 40 minute creative wellbeing sessions during our day at The Den at midday and 3pm.
This is how Christine describes the sessions:
"The 3 minute move/write/draw practice has gradually evolved over the years, as much of my and Curious Seeds work emerges from collaborative and experimental ways of working on the interplay between movement, music and words.
"It initially came from me committing to dancing for 3 minutes every day, no matter what, especially on those admin heavy days when no dancing was actually required of me. I then began to also write for 3 minutes after the moving. Often this is enough, but when I'm with others, the sharing of this process and rich material (tiny almost poems, lists of words and feelings, images, colourful shapes) can become the catalyst for shaping how the session proceeds.
"This practice came into its own as a very simple way of connecting with others during the lockdowns of the Pandemic, hence the 40 minutes duration - Zoom time!. Many participants talked of it contributing to their mental wellbeing."
The sessions are open to anyone who wants to participate and no experience is required beyond an open-ness to being in the moment and responding creatively to the opportunity to take some time for yourself in the company of others.
