Pacific Chamber Symphony: Totally Beethoven
Beethoven's view of nature in his Pastoral Symphony #6 breaks new ground in his moving depiction of his love of nature is combined with his earlier work the Ballet Music for the Creatures of Prometheus. In Prometheus we get Beethoven's classically orientated view of the Greek mythology as opposed to the Romantic view of nature of his 6th Symphony. A most revealing contrast and insight into Beethoven's creative genius.
