Do you find yourself mesmerized by the rhythm and tranquility of water, and want to try your hand at capturing those beautiful linear shapes and colors? Whether you've been painting for years, or haven't yet picked up a brush, we invite you to explore your creative intuition and the sacred nature of water through the fluidity and whimsy of watercolor paint. Embark on playful experiments in color theory, gesture, composition, brush strokes and paint textures and use these techniques to create a finished lake, river or seascape painting to take with you! (If you have a specific image in mind, feel free to bring it as inspirationotherwise, we will have lots of source material to choose from!) Space for only 8 painters.
Watercolor Skyscapes is open to adults and children age 12 and up.
