Taking Your Film to the Marketplace: the Path to Distribution
For a third year, WOW is partnering with the Los Angeles Women's International Film Festival to present the Filmmaker Symposium as part of the festival. This year's symposium will be held Saturday, March 15 from 9:00am- 6:30pm at Woodbury University. The symposium will feature panel discussions with current filmmakers and industry leaders on key topics in filmmaking today.

This panel will explore the various options available to filmmakers for distribution. From sales agents to distribution companies, discover the important considerations and the pitfalls filmmakers encounter when looking for representation. The best deal points, the essential deliverables and how best to navigate the maze of a crowded film market - you'll hear it all from a panel of dynamic women working in acquisitions, distribution, legal and business affairs, music licensing and the ultimate marketplace right here in L.A.
