Ripped from Idaho and national headlines, this Tony Award nominee for Best Play by Douglas Carter Beane is a fast-paced and hilarious ride on the roller coaster journey one celebrity goes on when he decides to explore his sexuality. A young, hot, almost famous stud is about to win the role of a lifetime and, depending on if he keeps his sexuality under wraps or not, will elevate him to super stardom. Add to that equation a male escort looking for love, his "girlfriend" looking for a home, and a scheming talent agent out to make the deal of a lifetime and a funny, sexy, nontraditional love story emerges. Join Alley Repertory Theater as we celebrate our five year anniversary by revisiting a fantastic piece of theater and the first play ever produced by the company: The Little Dog Laughed.
