Mother's Summer Plunge
A one-day summer camp offering retreat and renewal especially for mothers on Saturday, June 20, 2009, in Sierra Madre, Calif., northeast of Los Angeles. Hosted by Karen Maezen Miller, author of Momma Zen: Walking the Crooked Path of Motherhood and Zen Buddhist priest.
Personal encouragement, fresh insight, spiritual refreshment, beginning meditation, gentle yoga, mountain walks and a whole new view all offered in the quaint haven of the historic hillside town of Sierra Madre, the mother mountain.
