STAGE PRESENCE 1 & 2 with Elektra Cute

Learn to hold the audience in the palm of your hand and command a stage of any size! Elektra Cute, local luminary and national performer known for her stage presence, leads this excellent two-session workshop intended for all levels. Deconstruct character, persona, and the ownership of your performance from start to finish, from pre-show ritual to curtain call.

Whether you are new to the stage or want to breathe new life into your performance or even if you simply want to elevate your presence in everyday life this class is for you.

There are two sessions to this class:
Sunday March 23rd 12:00-1:30
Sunday March 30th 12:00-1:30

Class Requirements: Bring your attitude! Be prepared for movement exercises.
Experience Level: Beginner to Advanced

Advance registration is encouraged to hold your place, or you may arrive early and register in person.

ABOUT ELEKTRA CUTE
Elektra Cute is a burlesque artist and producer based in Minneapolis, MN. She is the self-anointed 'most shocking woman in burlesque', and does her best not to disappoint...herself. She loves bourbon on the rocks, expensive hosiery and black town cars.

She founded Black Hearts Burlesque in 2011 with fellow Minneapolis ecdysiast and friend Dahlia Dulce. Since their inception, Black Hearts has produced spectacles at many locations throughout the city, including Lee's Liquor Lounge, The Loring Theater, Icehouse, and the current home of their bi-monthly drag, burlesque and cabaret offering, Hell's Kitchen.

Elektra had the honor of debuting at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Tournament of Tease in 2013. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Playful Peacock Showgirl Academy, where she teaches the art of burlesque to inquiring minds and bodies, and serves as a producer for the Minneapolis Burlesque Festival.
