The Stag of Spring
Two years ago, Megan had the opportunity to dine inside of the publication headquarters of San Francisco's "The Bold Italic" with The Stag Dining Group.  Ever since then, she knew she would one day lure their head chef Jordon Grosser to the foothills to chef at Polly's Paladar.  Well, friends, this is our day.  He is so busy and sought after that it DID take that long to nail down a month he could come and wow us foothill foodies.  Thank goodness that day has arrived.  A bit about him:

Jordan Grosser has over 13 years of experience and expertise in the culinary industry. His passion and prowess in the kitchen was evident early in his career, assuming the role of sous-chef with Ted at La Soliel of Tucson. Jordan's career pursuits brought him to San Francisco in 2004 where he worked at Azie. After a stint at Campton Place he left to join Wolfgang Puck's Postrio where he quickly propelled to the esteemed role of Chef De Cuisine at this San Francisco fine-dining institution. Jordan re-joined Ted Fluery as co-executive chefs at Alembic. His foray into entrepreneurial pastures have him serving as a consultant to Kimpton Restaurants, launching Flossa Cheese Company and leading Forage SF's Wild Kitchen. His warm presence lights up any room and excellent cuisine has been known to invoke 'slow clap' ovations.  Longtime friends and colleagues Jordan Grosser and Ted Fleury first launched Stag Dining Group in December of 2010.  As expressed in their mission statement, Grosser and Fleury define the heart and soul of their work not by the question of "why", but "why not?"

Jordon will be preparing for us a tasting menu, commonly called a "degustation" menu in many places of the world.  It could very well be composed of up to 10 courses, maybe more.   The menu will be posted as soon as possible.

There is a 5pm seating and an 8pm limited seating, as usual.  Please pay heed to which seating you are reserving for.
