Sing, Act, Play, Create!
Calling all storytellers!
Join us this summer for a special two-week camp as we venture into the forest to explore our "greenest" plays yet: Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "SHREK: the Musical."
Full-day and half-day options are available, with a small teacher to student ratio and a dedicated, experienced staff of teaching artists. Camp will culminate in a weekend of outdoor performances where they will perform for family, friends, and the community.
WHO: All kids ages 6-11
WHEN: July 21-Aug. 1 (Two weeks, Monday through Friday)
Performances on the weekend of Aug. 2 & 3
WHERE: Historic downtown Oregon City
TIME: MORNING SESSION: 9:00 am-12:30 pm
AFTERNOON SESSION: 1:00-4:00 pm**
Full-day session includes a supervised lunch break (12;30-1:00 pm)
TUITION: Full-day: $430
Half-day (MORNING or AFTERNOON**): $230
After-care available upon request.
**PLEASE NOTE:
Children attending the MORNING SESSION and the FULL-DAY SESSSION are invited to perform in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "SHREK the Musical" on August 2 & 3. Rehearsals and scene work for these performances will take place during the morning session.
Children attending the AFTERNOON SESSION ONLY will not participate in the performance. The afternoon session will be devoted to arts exploration, outdoor recreation, and creative play relating to the themes of "A Midsummer Night's Dream."
