Soon, the name of Bogville will be on the tips of Porland's finest tongues. Tribal steam enchantress NagaSita, renowned in darker circles as a dancer and choreographer for Serpentine, has gathered a patchwork tribe of mystics and malcontents to build a new theatrical world for Portland audiences to explore.
The family of artists who make up the denizens of Bogville are hard at work building new stages, costumes, sets, and lighting rigs even as you read this announcement. By showtime, they'll have transformed the humble confines of The Mt Tabor Theater into a magical moldering marketplace; an immersive environment where the enigmatic mythopoeic lives of Bogville play out in song and ritual.
During their storied careers, these veterans of the stage may have caught your eye under the banners of Water in the Desert, Societas Insomnia, East Meets West, Soriah, Vagabond Opera, The Wanderlust Circus, The Hobo Gobbelins, The Squidling Brothers, Power Circus, The Red King, Batty's Hippodrome, The Balkan Fusion Project, Cult of Zir, Cabaret Babylon, Mirror Milk, Nequaquam Vacuum, Exquisite Corps, and countless other troupes and associations. Before and after the show; our merchants offer unique clothing, jewelry, books, music, and other souvenirs of your stay in Bogville.
