Paso Robles Hot Air Balloon Festival
April 24-26, 2009 This is one of the most widely anticipated events of the year as Estrella Associates will play host to a parade of hot air balloons at River Oaks Hot Spring! A live concert will kick off Friday night featuring Sugar Daddy Swing Kings!
Saturday morning hot air balloons will ascend into the Paso Robles sky. Included in the Saturday festival will be hot air balloon rides, tethering, food, music, sporting activities, children's activities, model airplane demonstration, model boat demonstrations (on the lake!) and event vendors. Saturday balloon launch and festival begins at 6 AM (weather permitting) with festivities continuing until noon. For the safety of our guests, balloon rides and tethering are based on weather conditions. Tethering does not require reservations and will be based on first come basis and weather conditions. Festival admission entry fee is $10 per car! Enjoy this morning sport and festivities something for the entire family! Proceeds from the admission fee benefit youth programs.
Hot Air Balloon Rides will be available to the public Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Reservations are required for balloon rides. Tethering will be available Saturday at the Festival and will not require reservations. For the safety of our guests, balloon rides and tethering are based on weather permitting the activity.
