Introduction to Routers
In this class you will gain hands-on experience using a router, a versatile woodworking tool used to make cut-outs, duplicate cuts or shapes from a pattern, shape edges, cut joints, make decorative surface cuts, and more. You will learn about the different types of router bits and set-ups (table, fixed-base, and plunge) and what they are used for, then practice using routers to shape and carve wood in a variety of ways.
The cost of the class is based on a sliding scale between $35 and $55 and includes a $15 materials fee. Please consider paying more to cover the costs of hosting this class, if you are able.
