The Rocky Horror Show LIVE!

Rocky for Equality is a small theater company from Augusta, Maine who hopes to bring an annual production of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW LIVE to our state capital! Join us for our 2014 production at Le Club Calumet!!!!

Our goal is to support local businesses and charities creatively while also giving back to our community. For our 2014 production, the proceeds from the show will be donated to the restoration of Augusta's Colonial Theater! (www.augustacolonialtheater.org)

The Rocky Horror Show tells the tale of Brad Majors and his fiancé, Janet Weiss. Two young, ordinary, healthy kids who find themselves stranded and lost in the woods. Upon knocking on a nearby castle for help, they are swept into chaos by Franknfurter, a mad transvestite scientist, and his bizarre followers. Join our heroes as they discover their inner desires and give in to absolute pleasure.

This campy classic is a tribute to the age of B-rated horror movies with a cult following that spans nearly four decades. The show is bursting with energy, sex appeal and rock n' roll classics such as Sweet Transvestite, Hot Patootie, and the world famous Time Warp.

Audience costumes are STRONGLY encouraged for your enjoyment as well as ours! It's the perfect excuse to wear your lingerie in public! There will be a cash bar, a photobooth and a costume contest with prizes!!!

Please no messy props!

PLEASE NOTE: This show is for mature audiences only! We suggest ages 16+ due to partial nudity, colorful language and sexual situations.

Tickets are general admission and may be purchased online up until 4 hours before show time. After that, make sure you bring CASH if you plan on purchasing at the door!
