Home Electric 101

Gain a basic understanding of your home electric. Learn how to safely work on and around electrical wiring in your home, fain familiarity using basic electrical tools, and learn how to wire a light, outlet, and switch.

The cost of the class is based on a sliding scale between $30 and $50 and includes a $10 materials fee. Please consider paying more to cover the costs of hosting this class, if you are able.

Cancellations and Refunds: If you have signed up for a class but are unable to attend, please email info@westphillytools.org to cancel your enrollment. For cancellation requests received at least one week before the class, we will either issue a credit towards a future class, or refund the full ticket price, less service fees collected by BrownPaperTickets (typically $2.50 - $4 per ticket). We are unable to guarantee credit or refunds for cancellation requests received less than seven days before the date of the class, although we will do our best to accommodate late cancellations if we are able to fill your spot. Tickets are transferable; please notify us at info@westphillytools.org prior to the class if someone else will be attending in your stead and provide the attendees name and email address.
