For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf
In celebration of Women's History Month, Mahogany Ensemble Theatre presents the Obie award-winning, spellbinding choreopoem by Ntozake Shange. 'For Colored Girls' is a passionately-feminist, lively collection of vivid prose and free verse narratives about and performed by black women. Through dance, music, and poetry, the women are united in sorrow, spirit, pride and soul. A masterpiece of reckless daring and triumphant sister sharing, this production is something to experience and a must see for teenage girls and women of all ages.
