LIMITED ENGAGEMENT! SRO Radio Show - Saturday, May 6th
Watch as SRO stages 2 classic radio shows from the 40s and 50s... Our actors "dress the part" in 40s-style attire (dresses, suits, ties, hats, and shoes) reading from scripts right there on stage. There's also a foley artist who takes care of sound effects along the way (sometimes to very comedic effect) using old time sound devices.
It's a little peek into how classic productions operated in the heyday of radio, when families would gather around the radio and listen to the likes of Burns and Allen and the Little Orphan Annie show.
