Two choral groups will team up to present Johannes Brahms' ein Deutsches Requiem, a colossal work for chorus, orchestra and soprano and baritone soloists, and two shorter pieces, Pavanne by Gabriel Faure and a contemporary choral work, Benedictus by Karl Jenkins.
Hudson Chorale and Westchester Choral Society, over 100 singers in all, along with a 38-piece orchestra will present these beautiful and challenging works at O'Byrne Chapel at Manhattanville College, Purchase, NY.
Friday, May 19 at 7:30 PM, and Sunday, May 21 at 3PM.
