Nick Terrones, an educator at Hilltop, and Javier Casio, an educator at Southwest Early Learning Bilingual Preschool, will be holding a panel discussion with parents and faculty to discuss men in early childhood education. This collaboration between educators and families will provide Nick and Javier with a diverse amount of thoughts, ideas, feelings, and inspiration as they prepare for a presentation that they will be giving in Puerto Rico, at The World Forum on Early Care and Education.
The three main points of discussion will be the following:
1. Being a man in ECE--what does it mean? 2. What messages do we send to children? 3. Our experiences and what families think of male educators.
On-site childcare will be available.
