Masks, Music and Magic

VERISMO OPERA makes opera accessible to the public at reasonable prices through a community effort of professional musicians and singers. We present fully staged operas with Chamber Orchestra at numerous venues throughout the Bay Area including our primary location: the Bay Terrace Theatre (Mira) in Vallejo. Through a system of rotating casts, often 3 or 4 leads per opera, we provide opportunities for aspiring and experienced singers to showcase their talents. Performances include costumes, sets, supertitles and a Chamber Orchestra in an intimate setting that draws the audience in closer to the drama onstage.
