LEARN Ignite your passion for horsemanship with a hands-on study of horse anatomy! Apply knowledge from this workshop to your riding, teaching, and training.
BUILD In this Anatomy in Clay Centers workshop, you will build the muscular structure of the hindquarters of the horse by applying clay to scale models of the equine skeleton.
EXPLORE The workshop focuses on form and function, with an emphasis on anatomical patterns and basic concepts of comparative zoology to improve the connection between horse and rider. The workshop will be led by Jon Zahourek, a leader in innovative anatomy education for more than 30 years.
This workshop provides an ideal learning environment for equestrians: professional and amateur, veterinarians, vet techs, students, trainers, horse massage therapists, farriers, and all explorers of the natural world. Past participants include Susan Harris, Wendy Murdoch, Debranne Pattillo, and Linda Tellington-Jones.
