Anatomy of the Horse: The Hindquarters

In this Anatomy in Clay Centers workshop, you will build the muscular structure of the hindquarters of the horse by applying clay to scale models of the equine skeleton.

The workshop focuses on form and function, with an emphasis on anatomical patterns and basic concepts of comparative zoology to improve the connection between horse and rider. The workshop will be led by Jon Zahourek, a leader in innovative anatomy education for more than 30 years.

This workshop provides an ideal learning environment for equestrians: professional and amateur, veterinarians, vet techs, students, trainers, horse massage therapists, farriers, and all explorers of the natural world.
