KFFR 88.3 FM Benefit with Amy Goodman

Join Democracy Now!'s Amy Goodman for a benefit in Denver for Colorado's newest community radio station, KFFR 88.3 FM, based in Winter Park.

The benefit is hosted by KKFR and the award-winning Phoenician Kabob Restaurant on East Colfax Avenue.

The ticket price includes a full buffet featuring Phoenician Kabob's renowned Middle Eastern cuisine.

Amy Goodman will give a talk and sign her latest book, along with her coauthor Denis Moynihan.

Proceeds benefit Fraser Valley Community Media, Inc, the license holder for Colorado's newest community radio station, KFFR 88.3 fm, which is fully licensed by the FCC, with an anticipated launch date of April, 2015.

Amy Goodman is host and executive producer of the award-winning news program Democracy Now! (carried on over 1,200 public radio and TV stations globally). She is the first journalist to receive the prestigious Right Livelihood Award for independent journalism. Her five books have all been New York Times bestsellers. Goodman's reporting has won numerous awards, including the Robert F. Kennedy Prize for International Reporting and the George Polk Award.
