In addition to being the lowest-rated soap opera in the history of daytime television, Throttlebottom Manor has been beset by a string of bad luck lately. The leading man is cheating on his wife with a vindictive starlet, the newly-appointed executive producer and headwriter are barely out of college, and the new heartthrob is a British boy band member with a questionable past. Meanwhile, the star of the show has been out of commission after a near-fatal car accident. But was it an accidentor the work of a diabolical killer? And, with the players all gathered for the star-studded Daytime Emmys, will the killer strike again? On national television?
