BOOM: Jordan Bailey

Da Art of Sampling uses spoken word and hip hop to detail the plight of black folk in America. It will use sampled music as a framework for storytelling and diving into the sound of the times reflected in black youth.

BIO
Jordan Bailey is a 25 year old artist out of Charlotte NC. His journey as an artist began in the poetry scene at the age of 15, as poet in Breathe Ink. He slowly climbed the ranks and has racked up several accolades such as 2018 National Slam Champions and 2019 Slam Madness Champion. In 2018 he transitioned into coaching and becoming a teaching artist for the same organization that has taught him. In January of 2021 he dropped his 1st project Catfish Voodoo under his new moniker, Young Static. Jordan hopes to continue to grow the arts scene in North Carolina.
