BOOM: Alyce Cristina Vallejo
Glimpse: In, Out, and Forward is a continued investigation of loss and love. Stemmed from a growing curiosity of how we dance with our own experiences. Get ready to enter a realm of connection to interact with and cultivate a shared experience through art, film, sound, text, and movement. Add to the memory wall, pick from a music menu, connect through movement you may become part of the performance!
BIO Alyce Cristina Vallejos professional career spans 15 years in the Charlotte area, performing, choreographing, artistically, and administratively collaborating with Martha Connerton/Kinetic Works (12 seasons), the Charlotte Youth Ballet (09-19), as performance and teaching artist with Movement Migration since 2019 and with Moving Poets Charlotte/Berlin since their relaunch in 2013. She has performed in a wide variety of venues from stage to art gallery to site specific performances in collaboration with other esteemed artists, musicians, actors, and writers.
This wide-range experience fuels and challenges the depths and imagination of Alyces artistic expression and has molded her as a collaborative facilitator to both Movement Migration and Moving Poets by connecting communities, organizations, and performers to build and co-create performances.
