The Early Late Show with Yogi Paliwal
Rendezvous Jewelbox Theatre
Seattle, WA
Share this event:

World infamous comedian Yogi Paliwal invites you into the loving arms of the historic Jewelbox Theatre to share artisanal hand crafted sketches, cruelty free pro comedians, and organic interviews and friendship. Get the big network, late night show experience right here in the city we love, Seattle. With warm up comic Cameron Mazzuca to get the crowd going and co host Albert Kirchner to pick up the comedy pieces from all the earth shattering laughs.

On this month's episode we find out if the pressure of the show is too much to handle for Yogi Paliwal. We will find out what Seattleites really think about the rain!

This month our feature guests are James Adomian, David Gborie, and John Roderick.

James Adomian is a prolific performer/writer/standup who is a staple in the comedy scene in LA and NY, as well as across the country, having made his rounds in sketches on late night shows like Conan and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He'll soon be seen in David Cross' feature directorial debut HITS (which will have its premiere at Sundance), starring opposite David Cross, Michael Cera, Amy Sedaris, and Julia Stiles. IFC recently announced that James is developing a new show for their network called THE EMBASSY. He's currently co-writing the pilot (in which he'll play multiple different characters) with Scott Aukerman (Comedy Bang! Bang!) and his company Earwolf. As a performer, James' many memorable characters appear in movies, TV, and as celebrated guests all over the podcast-o-sphere. He's a fan favorite on IFC's Comedy Bang! Bang!, and has appeared multiple times on Adult Swim's Children's Hospital and also on The Eric Andre Show. As a standup, James recently appeared on Comedy Central's John Oliver's New York Stand Up Show, was a finalist on Last Comic Standing, and spends much of his time performing to sold out crowds across the US and abroad. Earlier this year, James was honored on The Advocate's list of "Top 40 Under 40", which said "it's only a matter of time before Adomian is a household name". His debut standup album Low Hangin' Fruit is available on Earwolf.

David Gborie comes to party. He has been telling jokes all over the country for a couple of years now and he is, in his words, "Pretty legit at it ". He currently lives in San Francisco where he is a member of Sylvan Productions and can be seen around town lurking at one of their many shows or hustlin in the streets. The kid don't play.

John Roderick is an American musician, writer, and podcaster. Born in Seattle, Washington, he grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, where as a young man he worked as a sluice box mucker for a gold mining operation in the area. He is currently the lead singer and guitarist in the band The Long Winters and was formerly a touring member of the band Harvey Danger. He is also a frequent guest musician on recordings by other bands, appearing on the Death Cab for Cutie album Transatlanticism, the Nada Surf album The Weight Is a Gift, The Decemberists album Picaresque, and the David Bazan album Curse Your Branches, as well as recordings by BOAT, Visqueen, Say Hi, Denver Dalley, Shelby Earl and Ken Stringfellow. He collaborated with Jonathan Coulton for Coulton's album, Artificial Heart, released in September, 2011[1] and a duo album called One Christmas at a Time in November 2012.
