Bookbinding in the British Isles before 1800
Author and antiquarian book expert Stuart Bennett will deliver a fascinating lecture on the history of British bookbinding at the Library Society. Mr. Bennett has been an antiquarian book dealer for more than 30 years, and is the author of "Trade Bookbinding in the British Isles 1660-1800" (2004), and the "Christie's Collector's Guide How to Buy Photographs" (1987).
