The rebellious Lebanese comedian and activist Shaden makes her debut performance in the UK for Shubbak Festival.
As the regions first openly queer comedian, Shaden's shows call for social revolution through satire. Despite being summoned by the military court for her criticism of the political class, Shaden continues to pave a path for artistic freedom of expression. All Hell Broke Loose is a deep dive into toxic masculinity, her relationship with God, coming out story and mental health journey.
Shaden has sold out over 90 shows this past year across Beirut, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and Oslo with awk.word; the first stand-up comedy platform in Lebanon. Her first critically-acclaimed special SHIAA SEEDS has sold to over 10,000 audience members since 2018.
