Bus Stop by William Inge
The James Downing Theatre's winter dramatic production will be "Bus Stop" by William Inge. Featuring: Sarah Reddy, Ben Page, Laurel Kaish, Mark Brewer, Nancy Barenbrugge, Charles Wimmer, Cesar Gonzales and Patrick Feeney
"Bus Stop" is the story of what happens when a cross-country bus gets stranded during a snowstorm for several hours at a rural Kansas diner. For Cherie, a young singer pursued by a persistently amorous cowboy Bo Decker, there's no way to escape the company of her fellow passengers until the weather improves and snowplows can reach them. Romance, comedy, and mystery ensue in this classic American Play. A 1956 film version of this play, directed by Joshua Logan, starred Marilyn Monroe, Don Murray and Arthur O'Connell.
