The Artistry of Strings

Chamber music concert at the Music Academy of the West on Sunday, April 16, at 7:00pm in Lehmann Hall with all proceeds benefitting Santa Barbara Strings music training programs. Artists Mary Beth Woodruff, Isaac Kay, Carson Rick and Andrew Smith will perform quartet repertoire of Mendelssohn and Mozart. They will be joined by current Santa Barbara Strings young talent alongside string faculty of the organization for performances of Bach's 3rd Brandenburg Concerto and two works of Argentinian tango composer, Astor Piazzolla. Wine and cheese reception to follow the program in the beautiful main house of the Music Academy of the West.
