Purim Around the World
Temple Sholom of West Essex has got the hottest Purim Carnival ticket in town! One low price includes a full lunch, snacks, dessert and all the carnival offerings. With this year's "Purim Around the World" theme, we'll have delicious Jewish foods from all over the diaspora -- Middle Eastern, North African, Eastern European, Lower East Side (yes, that means bagels).
This fun-filled carnival includes:
-Games for children of all ages
-Prizes
-A professional variety show, including circus performance and magic
-Live kids music
-Crafts to make and take home
-Mishloach Manot making
-Balloon artistry
-Face painting
-Sports competitions
-Live characters from the Purim story
The carnival, which runs from 11 am-1:30 pm is proceeded by a family-friendly Megillah reading (starting at 10:30 am).
