Powerful Voices Presents:
5th Annual Girlvolution Conference
Girlvolution is a 100% youth led event where young women in the Seattle Youth Violence Prevention Initiative present social justice workshops on issues impacting their lives and communities. Build community through food, spoken word, art, conversation, and activities. Learn and make connections at our Community Partners Resource Fair.
Date: Saturday April 12th, 2014
Time: Breakfast and Check-in start at 9:30 AM
The conference is from 10:00am-4:00pm
Location: Rainier Vista Boys and Girls Club, 4520 Martin Luther King Junior Way South Seattle, 98108
Bus Routes: #8, 50, and Columbia Light Rail Station
Who should come?
Youth (ages 12 and up) and anyone that supports and values youth voice. People of all genders welcome!!
Cost: FREE for youth, Adults $25, No one will be turned away for lack of funds!
Group Discount: If 5 Youth bring an adult, the adult can attend for FREE!
Please register for total number of youth and enter the First and Last name of the adult in the Company/Organization field.
