Ter has spent many years performing all styles of music in clubs, casinos, and senior centers all over Western WA. Classically trained, she is a 2010 graduate of the Yale Cabaret Conference and has been described by critics as "A cabaret dream ... a powerful, full-throated dynamo". "A personality as strong as her voice. I wouldn't be surprised if she became a main fixture in the local cabaret scene." They say "Seattle needs to see more of her." (SGN reviews)
