Washington State African American Achievement Awards
The 2023 10th Annual Washington State African American Achievement Awards committee have chosen to honor and celebrate What Dreams May Come: Honoring Future Leaders of Today and Tomorrow.
The event will be held on February 25, 2023 at the Marvin Williams Center 725 Park Ave
Bremerton Washington at 5:00 pm, a formal dinner will be served. To add sparkle to your night, we have featured for your entertainment, Dorcas Brown-Smith, Bridget Bazile and many more.
The Washington State African American Achievement Awards (WSAAAA) was founded in 2011 to highlight African Americans who have spent their lives and careers contributing to, and enriching Washington State.
The goal of the WSAAAAs event is to illustrate to young people of color an image of great individuals of African American descent, who have helped to shape this great state of Washington. It is our hope to inspire these young people to grow-up with the desire to possibly become a lawyer, doctor, artist, entrepreneur, activist or etc. It is also a reminder to all people in Washington State of the great accomplishments of African Americans and other minorities.
The Washington State African American Achievement Awards (WSAAAA) serves as an evening to celebrate the achievements of many extraordinary African American people, while allowing for an opportunity to mingle and network with leaders, professionals, and friends. This event helps to remind and inspire people in our communities of the importance of our continued contribution to enrich the culture and success of Washington State for all.
