Dutchman
The play Dutchman is to be presented at the Sherry Theater in honor of Amiri Baraka's death, as well as honoring African American month.
This very controversial play written by Amiri Baraka is about a sinister, neurotic white girl Lula, with the provocation of her lovely, half-naked body and of her startlingly lascivious speech, lures to his doom a good-looking young black man Clay, a stranger whom she has picked up in the subway and whom she mocks for wearing the clothes and employing the voice and manners of the conventional white intellectual.
Directed by Nathan Swain
Starring Pauline Schantzer and Terrance Hodges
Produced by Pauline Schantzer
Special treats will be given out on Valentines Day to all you love birds.
Warning: This play contains explicit material.
