Music, Mussels and Vodka
THIS EVENT IS RESCHEDULED DUE TO SNOW TO TUESDAY MARCH 10. Instead of a Restaurant Week kick-off, this is the finale! Upstairs at Bull Feeney's in Portland's Old Port is this event's venue. Feast on Maine's famous midcoast mussels from Pemaquid Mussel Farms while savoring Cold River Vodka cocktails, all part of the event's ticket price. Distillers Chris Dowe and Bob Harkins from Cold River will be there, introducing their amazing product. Smokey McKeen and Carter Newell of Pemaquid Mussels will be there too; educating us on their products. Old Gray Goose will be with us, playing traditional Quebecois music from Maine, the Maritimes and Ireland. Smoky and Carter, the mussel purveyors, are Old Gray Goose -- Theyve even got some songs about shellfish. The music starts at 5:30. After this Maine mussel and vodka celebration, we invite everyone to hit the town for some more Restaurant Week experiences.
