Maximilien Cooking Class: Canard (Duck)
Canard! Canard! Canard! Easily one of the most popular proteins in French cuisine, duck is often revered for its flexibility and exquisite taste. In this course, Chef Christian Potvin will teach you some very simple techniques to clean, carve, and cook a whole 'canard'. You'll learn how to confit, roast, and even render and save the duck fat! Upon completion, you'll be able to prepare your own succulent duck breasts ('magret'), duck legs, and a whole host of other mouthwatering dishes, surely impressing any discerning duck lovers in your life!
Get a taste of duck, with tips and ideas from Chef Potvin in this exciting and fun class! Carlos Romero from Maximilien will also demonstrate the perfect wines to accompany your new dishes.
This class will take place on Saturday, March 1st, from 1PM to 3PM, and includes generous duck portions and wine tasting.
