Raconteurs Storytelling presents "ALL IN YOUR HEAD" - Stories of Mental Health
In recognition of Psychiatry Month, Raconteurs Storytelling is bringing you a very special night of mental health-themed stories.
We'd like pitches of stories relating to your experiences with mental health disorders, stigma, the health care community, diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and learning to live with a mental health condition. Stories of those who work in the mental health field are also welcome.
What we are NOT looking for: stories of that time you thought your boyfriend was cheating on you, so you "went crazy" and burned all his clothes, or tales that exploit or make fun of another person's mental health condition just to get laughs -- funny stories are encouraged, but we want to keep it respectful. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Do you have a story to tell? Send a brief 1 paragraph pitch to submissions@raconteurs.ca!
