Joseph Tawadros Trio
The Joseph Tawadros Trio brings an exciting dynamic to the stage, challenging traditional musical forms and pushing boundaries. The group consists of two Australian-Egyptian brothers, Joseph and James Tawadros, and Matt McMahon, one Australia's finest Jazz pianists. Together they perform the Tawadros' original Middle Eastern compositions, which encompass a rare combination of highly emotional music intertwined with boundless energy. This is musicianship of the highest degree.
Nominated 11 times consecutively in the ARIA awards, winning 2 for World Music in 2012 and 2013, this is a concert of diverse virtuosity and brilliant technique.
