Parallel Lives is based on Kathy Najimy and Mo Gaffney's 1989 stage show and a 1991 HBO special by the same name. Parallel Lives brings together the talented duo of Molly Bellner and Amy Kern-Smith. The audience is whisked through the outrageous universe, where two actresses play men and women struggling through the common rituals of modern life. With boundless humor, Parallel Lives reexamines the ongoing quest to find parity and love in a contest handicapped by capricious gods or in this case, goddesses.
