Lampwork Bead Making Workshop, Beginners
In this beginning lampwork bead making workshop Glass Bead Artist, Kellene Richetts-Nguyen will teach students show to make glass art beads. Using a torch, rods of glass, shaping tools and gravity. In this 2-4 hour class (depending on class size). students will learn bead making safety, what and where to purchase bead making supplies, glass annealing. Studentswill also learn how to make small basic beads, pulled stringers(thin strings of glass applied to beads)and art beads using the pulled stringers.
For safety reasons students must wear cotton clothing, closed toed shoes. Long hair must be tied back and sunglasses are required.
Minimum age requirement is 14 with parental consent and attendence. All students must sign release form.
Class size is limited. Minimum 2 students and Maximum 4 students
