Klezmer Baroque!
San Francisco Renaissance Dancers, the resident dance troupe of San Francisco Renaissance Voices under the direction of Jennifer Meller presents their first full-length concert! The program begins with baroque dances accompanied by the Sunset Baroque Ensemble (Noah Strick, violin, Adam Cockerham, theorbo and Adaiha MacAdam Somer, cello). For the rest of the program our dancers are joined by advanced students from the Tikvah School of Music & Dance for contemporary and traditional Jewish dances accompanied by the acclairmed Klezmer ensemble Veretski Pass (Cookie Segelstein, violin, Joshua Horowitz, cimbalom, and Stuart Brotman, bass cello) - it's not to be missed!
