CHRISTMAS WITH THE CHORALE
Oregon Chorale's 2022 holiday concert, Christmas with the Chorale, features holiday music for all -- from classical oratorios to vocal jazz to traditional carols. The concert includes a selection from Handel's famous oratorio Judas Maccabaeus, songs by Benjamin Britten, a gorgeous Ubi Caritas written for Prince William and Princess Kate's wedding, a rousing African a cappella "Noel," songs from this year's Comfort & Joy concert with the Oregon Symphony, and fun audience sing-a-longs. The Chorale welcomes Hillsboro High Schools Concert Choir directed by Benjamin Noyes on Saturday evening and Portland Community College's Chamber Choir and their conductor, Samuel Barbara, on Sunday afternoon.
