WTS Lunch Program Feb 12 - Alaskan Way Viaduct and Seawall Replacement Program Update
The State, county and city departments of transportation are working together to implement a bored tunnel hybrid alternative, as recommended last month by the Governor Gregoire, King County Executive Sims and Mayor Nickels. This central waterfront viaduct replacement includes a new waterfront surface street, transit investments, downtown surface street improvements, and a deep bored tunnel.
