San Benito Stage Company presents Harvey; the story of Elwood P. Dowd, who makes friends with a spirit in the form of a human-sized rabbit named Harvey that only he sees (and a few privileged others on occasion!) After his sister tries to commit him to a mental institution, a comedy of errors ensues. Elwood and Harvey become the catalysts for a family mending its wounds and for romance blossoming in unexpected places.
Truly community theater, our show features local actors Christian Barrera, Michaela Connor, Andrea McDonald, Al Gonzalez, Duane Holt, Nathan Raff, John Sanchez, Tania Shanrock, Sarah Smith, James Swan & Tiana Vlaovich. Directed by Patricia Whalen, Production by Anne Hall & Becky Miser.
The play will take place at Paine's Restaurant & Bar in Hollister, with dinner served before the show, and dessert at intermission. Dinner will be a set menu, with a vegetarian option available upon request. Doors will open at 6:30 (1:30 for matinees), dinner served 7:00 (2:00) and the show begins at 7:30+ (2:30+). Come enjoy food, friends and fun!
