DANCE FOR A CAUSE: Benefiting PROJECT CUDDLE
San Clemente Dance PAC started a tradition three years ago of having a showcase performance called Dance For A Cause, in which we perform all of our competition routines before the season starts to give the families a chance to come and see all the routines without going to every competition. We turned this into a service project for the dancers and now it has become an annual fundraiser for a different charity each year.
This year we are going to be doing our showcase performance, DANCE FOR A CAUSE benefiting Project Cuddles. Project Cuddle Helps PREVENT Baby abandonment through a 24 hour, toll-free crisis hot-line to help girls and women hiding a pregnancy. One of our company dancers (Presley) and her brother were two children that were adopted out of this program and we are excited to be a part of the amazing organization.
We are also adding a new feature this year and you will see some of Orange County's TOP Dance Companies such as RhetOracle, ArchiTexture, Urban Blush, BoomKaz and more.
There will be a silent Auction and food+drink for sale prior to the event and we hope to raise enough money for Project Cuddle to make a difference. http://projectcuddle.org
