BarnArts Center for the Arts presents Neil Simon's class farce Rumors directed by Jo Oliver-Yeager at 7 p.m. Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 and at 2 p.m. Feb. 2 at Barnard Town Hall.
At a large, tastefully appointed Sneden's Landing townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of Farce. As the confusions and miscommunications mount, the evening spins off into classic hilarity of the absurd.
The fully staged production draws its cast locally and features Heidi Gennaro as Chris, Michael Reese as Ken, Yael Taylor as Claire, Tony Braca as Len, Danelle Sims as Cookie, Jay Caruso as Ernie, Daniel Quinn as Glenn, Victoria Wrong as Cassie, Nancy Klewicki as Officer Welch, and Asa Amirkiaee as Officer Pudney
