Seattle Youth Poetry Slam Series Prelim #2
Youth Speaks Seattle presents the second installment in an annual series in which youth poets compete for a chance to go to Nationals. A breathtaking event full of youthful energy, insight, and vision, with feature poets and special guests throughout.
The slam is open to youth ages 13-19 who have not yet spit in a prelim. Bring 3 original poems, 3 mins or under in length. No props, costumes, or musical accompaniment. Judging is based on content and performance. Top 3 poets go on to Grand Slam Finals on May 15th @ Seattle's Town Hall! Tickets available now, search "Youth Speaks Seattle"
Doors open and signups begin at 6:30pm
Slam at 7pm
