Come learn about your watershed with the Watershed Center!
Watershed Days is a yearly celebration of healthy and resilient watersheds, and this year, we're looking at things from the very top of the watershed - the headwaters! We are hosting at beautiful Camp St. Malo, which is located on Cabin Creek, right at the base of Mt. Meeker. The event will run from 9am to 2pm, with lunch included for participants, but feel free to come by at any time and stay for as long as you like!
This year, we are featuring drop-in Science Stations for hands-on learning about our rivers and forests. Experts will guide participants through experiences such as: learning about aquatic habitats by collecting bugs, investigating watersheds with a 3D model, and touring headwaters ecosystems to learn about the plants and animals that call these places home, as well as how climate change is impacting these areas.
Lunch is in included for all who sign up, so don't forget to register today!
Have questions? Email Maria at mpezza@watershed.center. We look forward to seeing you there!
